NEW STICKABOD COLLECTION

Did you know that BPD occurs in 5.9% of the general population, at a rate of approx. 5.6% in men and 6.2% in women? BPD has previously been considered largely a “woman’s disorder” and this is due to gender bias and differing expressions of this disorder under cultural and societal affects.

Studies show men with BPD exhibit more explosive behavior and more antisocial traits than women, as well as greater impulsivity due to higher levels of novelty-seeking. Women experience more anxiety and have higher comorbidity with eating disorders and PTSD.
